I have been a graphic designer, editor, and copywriter for more than 40 years, with clients ranging from corporations to publishers, ad agencies, non-profits, and individuals. I provide a full range of design services for books and author websites, working with my clients to identify goals and arrive at solutions that exceed expectations.
I have written two books and given talks internationally about graphic design and printing during the late nineteenth century, a period of extraordinary change in artistic style and technology. I hope that my research informs my work in a way that honors the history of graphic design and meets the challenges of this fast-evolving age.
I am also a composer of sorts. Music is not part of my design business, but it is an important part of my creative output. My new album is titled “Undercurrents,” which perhaps aptly describes both the role and process of music in my life.
